The Prism.K12 teacher course was one of the best courses I have ever taken… We were able to seamlessly create and build a community of learners and scholars through the use of technology. The instructors met each of us where we are in our teaching practice... Additionally, being able to go to The Phillips Collection to examine the art in person… was an amazing experience. Finally, giving students the opportunity to show their work at the Phillips Collection was an invaluable experience and incredible opportunity.
Creativity is one of the first casualties when any class is up against a deadline. The Prism arts integration course not only showed me the multidisciplinary value of creativity, I left with tools in hand to foster it. Many times, classes can be vague but throughout this course I felt valued for my time and I want to bring that feeling to my students.
